Our children’s Sunday Christian Education Program, called Start the Month off Right Sunday (SMORS!), is held the first Sunday of each month. The Program runs from 9-9:45 am prior to the service. The children then join and participate in the 10 am service

Young Adults

For teens and young adults seeking more information about the Episcopal Church and their spiritual journey, faith exploration classes are held annually during Lent. For more information on any of these educational opportunities

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is inter-generational and is planned by the Greater Upper Marlboro churches, rotating the host church site. The Greater Upper Marlboro churches start planning each year in March and usually hold VBS in July or August, in the evening. Children ages 3 to 12 from the community are welcome to attend, with youth over age 12 serving as volunteer helpers, and adults as volunteer teachers and leaders.

Family Friendly Events

From Breakfast with the Easter Bunny or Santa and our annual Halloween Family Party, St. Thomas hosts many events tailored for kids of every age.
